YWCA South Hampton Roads offers free legal education, court accompaniment services, assistance with obtaining protective orders, and legal referrals to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment and violence, and stalking. 

YWCA South Hampton Roads has victim advocates to assist those who are petitioning for protective orders. Our victim advocates also provide court accompaniment services to victims of interpersonal violence who reside in the South Hampton Roads region.

The legal proceedings after an assault can be a lot to handle alone. Our victim advocacy services aid all throughout the entire legal process to encourage personal empowerment.
