Gina Weekley, CDP® is a Certified Diversity Professional and strategic organizational leader with more than 15 years of experience advancing mission-driven innovation, community impact, and economic empowerment. She serves as the Director of Impact and Strategic Innovation at YWCA South Hampton Roads, where she leads Strategic Mission Impact across Gender & Equity initiatives, Youth Services, the YWomen Prosper Empowerment Academy, and Outreach and Volunteer Services. In this executive-level role, she oversees cross-functional strategy, program design, partnership development, and systems implementation to expand economic mobility and social justice outcomes across the Hampton Roads region. Recognized nationally as one of the Top 10 Most Impactful DEI Leaders to Follow in 2024, Gina is known for turning complex equity and leadership challenges into actionable frameworks that drive results. Her leadership has also earned her recognition as a Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier 20 Under 40 honoree and Nonprofit Staff Leader of the Year by the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.

Gina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Youth Services and a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Philanthropy, both from the University of Northern Iowa. Her academic training grounds her work in youth development, community-centered strategy, and sustainable nonprofit leadership. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Baylor University, where her research focuses on organizational leadership and systems-level change. Residing in Hampton Roads, Gina remains deeply committed to advancing gender equity, youth empowerment, and economic opportunity through innovative, evidence-informed leadership.
